On April 12, residents from and around Newtown Gate came to remember Mary Creekmore, a long-time resident and leader of Newtown Gate, with the dedication of a new permanent bench at the bypass entrance of Newtown Gate. Many spoke of Mary’s many contributions to the Newtown community, her care shown in each interaction and her love of the quiet walks along the path with her beloved husband and her treasured collie – which are now reflected and celebrated through this new addition to our community.
